Russia and Ukraine once again exchanged drone attacks against energy infrastructure and industrial targets, intensifying pressure on strategic sectors on both sides of the conflict. Authorities and companies reported damage to oil and gas facilities and industrial areas, as well as temporary restrictions on Russian air transport.
In a statement, Ukrainian state-owned company Naftogaz said Russia had attacked Ukrnafta’s production facilities for the second day in a row.
According to the company, “almost 100 attack drones were used against Ukrnafta’s production facilities.”

The company reported that there was critical damage and that the damaged equipment was turned off.
On the Russian side, authorities reported Ukrainian attacks during the early hours of the morning. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at least three drones targeting the capital had been shot down and that emergency services had been sent to the sites where the debris fell, with no immediate reports of damage.
The Russian Defense Ministry said air defense units destroyed 172 Ukrainian drones overnight, “almost half” over regions bordering Ukraine.
The governor of the Tula region, Dmitry Milyaev, said that debris from a downed drone caused a fire at an industrial site.
In the diplomatic field, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov stated that “it is not appropriate to communicate through the media” the formats and details of US proposals for a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
Peskov also added that for now, a conversation between the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the President of the United States, Donald Trump, is not planned, although it could be organized quickly “if necessary”.
