The painful fate of the handsome Ivan from the fairy tale Mrázik: 7 strokes! He ended up confined to a hospital bed forever

Every Christmas, TV screens light up with the magic of legendary fairy tales, among which Mrázik undoubtedly belongs. Everyone remembers the beautiful Nastenka and the strict stepmother, but the immortal hero of the fairy tale is also the brave and charming Ivan, played by the Russian actor Eduard Izotov. While he acted as a perfect hero on the screen, in private his life was marked by dramatic moments, writes the daily.

When he found his first love, Inga Budkevičová, everything between them seemed like a fairy tale. But she had a different opinion. According to her, Eduard Izotov was lazy and spoiled, but despite this she was married to him for twenty years. Then they divorced.

The actor found a second wife, but fate did not favor him this time either. They wanted to buy a cottage together, so he tried to illegally exchange $1,000 on the street with a peddler in Moscow. He was arrested by the police and although his fellow actors interceded for him, he spent two and a half years in prison.

This took its toll on him and his acting career was definitely over. When he was in his fifties, he suffered as many as seven strokes. So he ended up chained to a hospital bed forever. At the end of his life, he did not even recognize his closest relatives. Izotov died on March 8, 2003 at the age of 66.
