Who is Rodrigo Becão?
The defender is known to Bahian Tricolor fans. Revealed by Bahia, Rodrigo Becão had few opportunities in the professional team before being traded in 2018 to CSKA Moscow, from Russia.
The defender achieved greater prominence playing for Udinese, in Italy, where he played between 2019 and 2023 and established himself as one of the main names in the team’s defensive system.
Currently at Fenerbahçe, Becão remains valued in the market. However, the defender lost space in the Turkish team this season and could be traded soon.

Interest from Bahia and competition from Fluminense
According to Turkish journalist Ömer Çelikbasli, Bahia is interested in Rodrigo Becão’s return and has already started preliminary conversations to understand the viability of the deal. Negotiation, however, involves some obstacles.
Becão has a contract with Fenerbahçe until June 2028, which would require financial compensation for release. Furthermore, Bahia currently has five defenders in the squad.
The scenario becomes even more competitive with Fluminense’s entry into the dispute. The Rio club is also monitoring the defender’s situation and sees him as a possible replacement for Thiago Silva, who left the squad.
