Singer Simone revealed in an interview with the videocast “Conversa Vai, Conversa Vem”, from the newspaper O Globo, that she was a victim of rape during her childhood. The artist detailed that the crime was committed by a family friend who frequented her house.

“I will never forgive. It’s total destruction”, said Simone. According to the singer from Salvador, the attacker had the trust of her parents and acted brutally against her.
Simone classified rape as a “very serious illness” that generates deep marks of fear and insecurity. She advocated that those responsible for crimes against children be kept in separate wings in the prison system.
