Tax collection in Acre exceeds 2024 and is expected to reach R$6.4 billion in 2025

The collection of municipal, state and federal taxes in Acre is expected to reach around R$6.4 billion in 2025, according to an estimate from the Impostometer, a tool maintained by the Federation of Commercial Associations of the State of São Paulo (Facesp), the São Paulo Commercial Association (ACSP) and the Brazilian Institute of Planning and Taxation (IBPT). The value corresponds to approximately 0.16% of all national revenue. As of December 25th, the volume of taxes paid by people from Acre already exceeded R$6.3 billion.

Among the main taxes paid by the population are taxes on production and circulation, such as ICMS and ISS, as well as taxes on income and property, such as Income Tax, IPTU and IPVA, as well as fees related to foreign trade and other charges. In the previous year, revenue in Acre totaled R$5.9 billion. In comparison, until the end of November 2025, resources collected by city halls, state government and the Union totaled R$5.8 billion in the state.

The resources obtained from tax collection are used to fund the public sector, including works, government programs, paying employees and paying off debts.
