Nativity Prayer
Lord God, Heavenly Father, on this holy day of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude. We thank You for the supreme gift of Your Son, who came into the world to bring us light, love and salvation. We ask you, Lord, to bless our families, to give us peace in our souls and in our homes, to enlighten our path with wisdom and to strengthen our faith in You.
Help us, God, to live in love, to forgive the mistakes of those around us and to be a ray of light for those who need our help. Be with us on this holy day and all the days of our lives. Amen.
Prayer of thanksgiving for the Nativity
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, who was born in a humble cave for our salvation, we thank you on this holy Christmas day for the gift of life, faith and hope. We thank you for coming down from the glory of heaven into the darkness of the world, to kindle in our hearts the light that never goes out.

We thank you for every day you gave us, for joys and trials, for tears and smiles, for everything that brought us closer to you and taught us patience, humility and love. On this holy day, receive our gratitude as a pure sacrifice and teach us never to forget that true wealth is Your presence in our lives.
Bless our homes, our tables and our hearts. Fill them with peace, tranquility and pure love. Help us to be kinder, gentler, more forgiving, not to judge, not to hate, not to return evil for evil. As you were born in the humble manger, be born in our souls, Lord, and stay with us all the days of our lives. Amen.
