Andrej Babiš spoke with Trump on the phone, they discussed migration, the war in Ukraine and the V4 group

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš spoke with President Trump about the war in Ukraine, migration, Europe and the V4. He called this phone call good news for the Czech Republic.

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš announced via the X social network that US President Donald Trump called him on Friday. They discussed the war in Ukraine, migration, Europe and the Vyšehrad Group (V4), reports TASR.

In a video on the X network, Babiš apologized for the disturbance on Boxing Day. According to their words, they talked for a long time with the American president about war, migration, Europe, the V4 and his visit to the USA in 2019.

“We were preparing it for several days, but I didn’t believe it until the last moment that he would call me,” said Babiš and later added that it was a shock for him. However, he described the phone call as good news for the Czech Republic.

At the end, Babiš said that he and his family are going skiing, where he will prepare for next year. “I promise that hopefully no one important will call again so that I don’t have to bother you. Thank you for your understanding,” concluded the Czech Prime Minister.
