Police postpone press conference on Moisés Alencastro's death until cadaveric examination is completed

The Acre Civil Police reported that the press conference scheduled for this Friday (26), which would bring new clarifications about the death of Moisés Alencastro, has been postponed. The reason is the failure to complete the cadaveric examination carried out by the official expert.

According to the institution, the expert report is considered essential for the advancement of investigations and for the dissemination of more detailed information about the circumstances of the death. Once the document is finalized, a new date for the press conference will be announced.

Moisés Alencastro was found dead inside his own apartment, in the Morada do Sol neighborhood, in Rio Branco, on Monday night (22). The case began to be investigated by the Homicide and Personal Protection Police Department (DHPP).

The Civil Police identified the main suspect in the murder: Antônio de Sousa Moraes, 22 years old. The court ordered his preventive detention, he was considered a fugitive but was arrested last Thursday morning (25).
