Sara Norte was on the ‘Red Carpet’ program last Wednesday, December 24th, a special broadcast dedicated to Christmas and the traditions of each of the commentators during this festive season.
At one point, and because everyone was asked to take an object commemorating the date, Sara Norte showed the decorative object she received from her sister Beatriz’s stepfather, after the girl’s death in August 2020.
“I have this ornament that I put here, which is named after Beatriz, who is my sister, who my stepfather gave it to me the year after Beatriz passed away. And that’s it, it accompanies me and as long as she is in my heart, she is alive. And this year I have the opportunity to pay her the best tribute, the protagonist of my series is called Beatriz”he began by saying, with a choked voice.
When talking about Christmas, Sara Norte ended up bursting into tears: “I don’t care much about Christmas, honestly… It’s not… It’s a night…”he said, unable to say more.
The actress and commentator was then supported by Liliana Campos and her colleagues Carolina Ortigão, Joana Latino and Heitor Lourenço, who hugged her. “This is what family is. And we have said many times in recent weeks that Christmas is a time of celebration, but it is also a time to remember those who have passed away and these moments of sadness and pain are part of it”reflected the presenter.
