There was an attack in a factory near Tokyo that injured 14 people. The attacker used knives and liquid, the authorities confirmed his arrest.
Fourteen people were injured in a knife and unknown liquid attack at a factory in central Japan, an emergency official said on Friday. TASR informs about it based on the AFP report.
“Fourteen people were transported by emergency services,” a fire department official in the city of Mishima in Shizuoka Prefecture, west of the Japanese capital Tokyo, told AFP.
The official said he received a call from a nearby rubber factory around 4:30 p.m. local time (8:30 CET) saying that “five or six people had been stabbed” and that a “spray-like liquid” was also used in the attack. Japanese media reported that one person is already in custody.
