VW is lengthening the SUV: Together with the Chinese partner company XPeng, the Wolfsburg-based company is showing a new series model, the ID.Unyx 08, which is five meters long – around 20 centimeters more than the in-house combustion engine and hybrid model Touareg and almost half a meter longer than the electric SUVs ID.4 and ID.5. The model was announced in the spring under the working title ID.Evo as a “full-size SUV for young, lifestyle-oriented customers”.
