Born in Douala, the largest city and economic capital of Cameroon, Etta Eyong began her career with local team Ecole de Football Galactique, before joining Cádiz’s youth squad in early 2022.
In August 2024, the striker signed a three-year contract with Villarreal B, the second team of the Submarino Amarelo, which plays in the Primera Federación (Spanish third division).
The player’s LaLiga debut for the club’s main team was in April this year, in a 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad. The performance in the current season is what made Barcelona’s eyes shine.
