The president of , , announced that he will meet with the North American president, , “soon” to discuss progress in negotiations for a ceasefire with . “A lot can be decided before the New Year,” said the Ukrainian on Telegram. Axios points out that the meeting between the leaders should take place this Sunday (28), in Mar-a-Lago.

At the same time, new drone attacks marked the last dawn in Ukraine. Russian attacks damaged vessels flying Slovak, Liberian and Palauan flags in Ukrainian ports in Odesa and Mykolaiv, according to the country’s deputy prime minister, Oleksiy Kuleba. Russia’s attacks caused power cuts.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated this Friday (26) that it has taken control of Kosovtsevo, in the Zaporizhzhia region, which allows the creation of a bridgehead for offensive actions in the direction of the town of Ternovate.
