Municipal Civil Defense teams continue to monitor the river’s behavior in real time and remain alert, with preventive actions already underway. Families living in risk areas are being guided and, in some areas, preventive evacuations have already begun to avoid emergency situations.

Rio Branco City Hall reported that all departments involved in the contingency plan remain mobilized, ready to expand assistance to families if the river level continues to rise in the coming hours.

The recommendation is that residents of flooded regions pay attention to official announcements and contact Civil Defense if necessary.
