CHRISTMAS PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
The City of Rio Branco launched, this Monday, the 15th, the 5th Photography Competition for Christmas of Life, Hope and Dignity – 2025, one of the main cultural actions of the Christmas period in the capital of Acre. The initiative will reward professional and amateur photographers, in addition to the most liked photo on Instagram, totaling R$20,800 in prizes, with the aim of enhancing the city’s beauty, strengthening the Christmas spirit and stimulating the population’s creativity.

The Chico Mendes Environmental Park, in Rio Branco, will operate differently during the end of year festivities. As announced this Wednesday, 17th, on the Park and City Hall’s social networks, on the 24th, 25th and 31st of December the place will be open from 7am to 5pm, remaining closed on the 1st of January.

Focusing on defending public education, MPAC approved the creation of the Special Action Group for the Defense of Education (Gaede), operating throughout the state.
