Moraes’ decision affects ten people convicted of the coup plot. The warrants were carried out this Saturday morning by the PF in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Goiás, Bahia, Tocantins and the Federal District.
The objective was to prevent similar escape attempts by convicts who are not yet serving prison terms because they have not exhausted their resources. In cases where military personnel are involved, there was support from the Army.
In Ponta Grossa (PR), police officers were at the home of the former international advisor to the Presidency, to communicate the decision. He already wore an electronic ankle bracelet, but his authorization to leave the house during the day was revoked.
The president of Instituto Voto Legal, Carlos César Moretzsohn Rocha, one of them, was not found by PF agents and was considered a fugitive.

The list also includes former members of the Army. In addition to Rocha, the other targets are: Ailton Gonçalves Moraes Barros, former Army major; Ângelo Denicoli, Army reserve major; Bernardo Romão Corrêa Netto, Army colonel; Fabrício Moreira de Bastos, Army colonel.
Also targeted are Giancarlo Rodrigues, Army sub-lieutenant; Guilherme Marques Almeida, Army lieutenant colonel; Marília Alencar, former director of Intelligence at the Ministry of Justice; and Sérgio Ricardo Cavaliere de Medeiros, lieutenant colonel of the Army.
