Three decades after creating one of the most iconic plays in the history of football, René Higuita surprised again.
The former Colombian goalkeeper repeated the famous scorpion strike in a game paying homage to Mario Yepes. At 59 years old, and far from the physical shape of other times, Higuita showed that his irreverence remains intact.
The gesture dates back to 1995, when he performed it for the first time at Wembley, in a friendly game against England, and since then it has become an eternal image of world football.
