Russian attack with missiles and drones leaves a third of Kiev unheated

Attack takes place on the eve of talks between Ukraine and the United States to end the conflict

At least 11 people were injured this morning after a Russian missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, on the eve of talks between Ukraine and the United States.

Explosions were heard for several hours in Kiev, when ballistic missiles and drones hit different parts of the city, from early morning until dawn.

As a result of the attack, a third of houses in Kiev are without heating, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

The bombing comes at a time when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is preparing for a meeting with US President Donald Trump tomorrow.
