Allan in São Paulo?
According to journalist Venê Casagrande, Flamengo, which had released the midfielder to negotiate, postponed the release due to the possible change in command of the technical committee. The red-black club is trying to keep Filipe Luis, and if he stays, Allan will be released.
São Paulo’s idea was clear and had already been presented to the player’s representatives. The São Paulo club proposed a loan with a mandatory percentage purchase, conditioned on the achievement of sporting goals throughout the season. The model pleased Allan’s staff and was within the tricolor financial reality.
The player arrived at Flamengo in 2023, but did not establish himself as an absolute starter. This season, there were 33 games and his profile pleases São Paulo coach, Hernán Crespo.
Allan was revealed by Inter, but soon went to Europe. The player returned to Brazil in 2019, at Fluminense, on loan from Liverpool, and stood out for the Rio team. He was then hired by Atlético Mineiro, where he stayed for three seasons.
Flamengo set a date for this Sunday (28/12) for Filipe Luís to give a final answer as to whether he will renew his contract. At the moment, the coach has signaled that he accepts the amount offered by the club, but there is still an impasse over payments to his coaching staff.
