The body of a 39-year-old man and his 7-year-old son, were found in a river in the rural area of Jerônimo Monteiroon the afternoon of last Friday (26), in Espírito Santo.
According to information from the Fire Department, the father would have entered the water to save the boy from drowning and ended up disappearing with him. Furthermore, reports from family members state that the child was bathing in the river before the event.
On the same day, which was Christmas celebration, Thursday (25), some searches were started, but they were not found. The following day, Friday (26), agents began the new search in the morning. However, in the afternoon.
According to information from the Civil Police of Espírito Santo, were sent to the Regional Legal Medicine Section (SML)from the Scientific Police, in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, where they will undergo necropsy examinations and, subsequently, will be released to family members.
