After 11 months sidelined with a serious knee injury, Gabriel Jesus is returning to gaining minutes and space at Arsenal. The Brazilian took to the field five times this month, once as a starter, and dreams of also returning to the Brazilian team.
This Saturday (27), the number 9 revealed that he hopes to return to his good form to defend Amarelinha. He believes that, if he is playing, he has a chance of being called up by Carlo Ancelotti.
“When you participate in the Selection you want to be there even more. Many things for me in the Selection were ups and downs, some things happened and others didn’t”, pondered Gabriel.
“I have a feeling of wanting to be there, to return and help in the best way possible. And I believe that returning now, playing, with minutes, helping Arsenal, I will have a chance (of being called up)”, he told ESPN.
