An American influencer, named Lindsay de Oliveira, aged 32, who lives in the state of Georgia, had to be hospitalized due to a pimple on her face that turned into a generalized infection.
Lindsay noticed the pimple between her nose and upper lip. Without imagining any problems, he decided to blow it up. Within a few hours, the area swelled intensely and, the next day, half of the face was paralyzed.

Doctors initially suspected an allergic reaction, but detailed tests confirmed facial cellulitis, which is a bacterial infection that can spread quickly.
The influencer underwent an MRI to rule out more serious problems with her sinuses, eyes and brain. After applying some antibiotics, within a few hours there was a significant improvement.
Report on social media
After a few days, the influencer’s face was almost normal, although the effects of the medication persisted for around six weeks, as she reported in a TikTok video.
The video already has more than 6 million views and makes a clear warning: do not squeeze pimples, especially in the region known as the “death triangle”.
