Meatballs like from a furniture store, the taste is amazing. My family is eating

Do you dream of iconic meatballs, but you don’t necessarily feel like going to a popular furniture store? It’s even better because the homemade version is excellent. By using this recipe, you have full control over the ingredients and taste.

I love this combination of pork, beef and smoked bacon. Meatballs prepared this way are very juicy and aromatic, and this delicately spicy sauce is pure poetry. I think I’ll make them for my next dinner.

  • 200 g pork shoulder,
  • 300 g beef shoulder,
  • 50 g smoked bacon,
  • 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs,
  • 1 egg,
  • ½ teaspoon of cumin,
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg,
  • 3 grains of allspice,
  • salt, pepper (to taste),
  • 500 ml of meat broth,
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce,
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour,
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream (18%),
  • oil (for frying).

Grind the meat (both shoulder blades and bacon) using a grinder through a medium-mesh strainer.

Transfer the meat to a bowl. Add breadcrumbs, egg, cumin, nutmeg and allspice ground in a mortar. Mix all ingredients with your hands until smooth. Season it to taste with salt and pepper.

Form small balls from the meat mass. Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the meatballs in batches. Finally, place them all together in the pan.

Pour off some of the hot broth and pour the rest over the meatballs. Boil. Dissolve the flour in the poured broth and mix with the cream. Pour into the pan and mix with the rest of the broth. Add Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.

Heat the meatballs for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally as the sauce thickens.

Serve ready-made meatballs in sauce with potato purée. They taste great with the addition of cranberries to meat.
