The last Brazilian professional football champion of the season began to be defined this Saturday (27). Playing at the Mirandão stadium, Araguaína defeated Tocantinópolis by a score of 2-1, in the first match of the Tocantinense Championship final. Now the teams will meet again, starting at 4pm (Brasília time) next Tuesday (30) at the Ribeirão Stadium, in Tocantinópolis, to decide who will win the competition trophy.![]()

In this Saturday’s match, Araguaína needed just one minute to open the scoring with defender Clau. Six minutes into the final stage, the home team expanded with a free kick from Rafael Leandro. Three minutes later Emerson secured the visitors’ goal of honor.
