Czech musician Felix Slováček (82) and his wife Dagmar Patrasová (68) they experienced the first Christmas without their beloved daughter Anička Slováčková († 29). It was an emotionally demanding day for the devastated mother, which eventually required the intervention of rescuersinforms the Czech daily.

According to available information, the day before Christmas, Patrasova suddenly collapsed. A well-known saxophonist found her lying on the floor at home and immediately called an ambulance. After arriving at their villa in Prague’s Vinohrady, the paramedics examined her and took her to the hospital.

She was hospitalized until the next day, but on Christmas Day she was already at home. “She had a bad day, well. But we managed,” stated Slováček briefly. So they spent the holiday season together, even though a very important person was missing from the table.

Anička found her first lump in her breast more than ten years ago, in 2013 and subsequently in 2016. In both cases, these were benign formations. However, when the problem appeared for the third time, the result was not so favorable. She underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. After intensive treatment, her condition stabilized and it seemed that the worst was over. But the hope did not last long. In 2023, the disease returned again and the doctors could no longer help her. She breathed her last on April 6, 2025 at the age of 29.
