The 12 Day War is over, but Iran’s conflict with Israel and the West “is far from over”, says the Iranian president: “they are surrounding us from all sides, they are blocking our sales, our trade”. On the other hand, “domestic expectations have grown… and the country needs to be rescued”.
Iran is at war with the United States, Israel and Europe, the Iranian president declared this Saturday, Masoud Pezeshkianmonths after President Donald Trump ordered strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities.
“In my opinion, we are in total war with America, Israel and Europe; they don’t want our country to rise up,” said Pezeshkian in a post published this Saturday on the website of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader.
Pezeshkian’s statement comes at a time when the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahuu, is preparing to visit the United States this weekend, where he will meet with Trump to discuss the Iranian issue, notes .
Those in June represented a turning point in an armed conflict that lasted almost two weeks between Iran and Israel, now dubbed “12 Day War“.
The conflict officially ended on June 24, with a campaign promoted by the North American president, who announced that Israel and Iran had reached an agreement for a “complete and total ceasefire” in 24 hours.

The White House and the Israeli Embassy did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Pezeshkian’s remarks.
