Catarina Esparteiro used her Instagram account on Sunday night, December 28th, to explain why she has been absent from social media in recent days.
The former ‘Big Brother 2023’ contestant revealed that her Christmas and that of her entire family was marked by an unexpected moment and a lot of pain: the departure of her aunt.
“I’ve been absent here, whatsapp and calls, I didn’t wish anyone Merry Christmas because early in the morning of the 24th I received the news that my aunt, one of my mother’s sisters, passed away on the night of the 23rd in a car accident leaving her grandson’s birthday”began by counting.
Catarina Esparteiro was devastated by this sudden departure, reporting on the state of her mother, who was very close to her sister: “She was a person who deserved the best in life, she was in excellent health and it was all very unfair… I just ask for a lot of strength for my mother who adored her and got along so well with her sister, as it hasn’t sunk in yet and the wake isn’t until tomorrow”he added.
