According to journalist César Luis Merlo, Cruz-Maltino is negotiating with Monterrey, from Mexico, a one-year loan with a mandatory purchase clause. According to “NetVasco”, Vasco will still have the option to purchase of economic rights for the amount of 4.5 million euros (R$29 million).
The Colombian belongs to the Mexican club, but recently played for Necaxa, also in Mexico, where he played 17 matches.

Who is Johan Rojas?
A left-footed offensive player, Rojas can play either centrally, as an attacking midfielder, or wide open on the right wing. He has been called up to the Colombian national team’s youth teams, with four games played, and is 1.75m tall.
Revealed by La Equidad, from Colombia, the player began his professional career in 2022. For the club, he entered the field 69 times, scored seven goals and distributed ten assists, a performance that aroused the interest of Mexican football.
In 2024, he arrived at Necaxa on loan, participated in three goals in 13 games and was later traded to Monterrey. In the club’s main team, Rojas made 22 appearances, with three goals and one assist.
