The government of ends the year with disapproval greater than approval, according to Paraná Pesquisas. According to a survey by the institute released this Monday (29), the PT member’s management is disapproved by 50.9% and approved by 45.6%. 3.5% did not know or did not respond.

The scenario is stable compared to the previous round of research. Last month, the government was disapproved by the same 50.9% and approved by 45.9%.

Paraná Pesquisas interviewed 2,038 people between December 18th and 22nd. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.2 percentage points, and the confidence level is 95%.

The institute also measured the evaluation of the Lula government. For 32.7%, the PT administration is excellent or good; 23.1% rate it as regular, and the majority, 42.8%, consider the management to be bad or terrible. 1.4% did not know or did not have an opinion.

Elections 2026

Although the evaluation and approval are negative, Lula leads all first round scenarios for the 2026 presidential elections. He appears ahead of names such as former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro and the governor of São Paulo,
