São Silvestre will immortalize in its Hall of Fame names that made history in the competition. This Monday (29), at EXPO, in São Paulo, three important names will be honored.
The biggest winner of the race, with six titles in a row, between 1981 and 1986, the Portuguese Rosa Mota, will be one of them.
Carmem de Oliveira, the first Brazilian to win after the event became international in 1995, will also be honored.
Marilson dos Santos, the Brazilian with the most victories among men, with three titles, closes the day of tributes.
The trio will join hall of fame inductee Paul Tergat. The Kenyan athlete is five-time champion of the event and also the greatest
