Applications for the new support state to buy of vehicles electrical, which has retroactive effect to January 1, 2025, can be presented from this Monday through the website.
The application period runs until February 12th of 2026 “or until the available allocation is exhausted“, which the Government announced on the 22nd amounted to a total of 17.6 million euross.
According to the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the requirement that the vehicle acquired be novo, as well as that of “abate of a automobile fossil fuel with more than 10 years“.
Light electric passenger vehicles can receive between 4 thousand and 5 thousand eurosdepending on the type of beneficiary, and its price cannot exceed 38.5 thousand euros (including VAT and associated expenses) or 55 thousand euros for vehicles with more than five seats.
In the case of bicycles (charging, with or without electrical assistance, and electric and conventional), the value of support varies between 500 and 1500 euros, while electric motorcycles, mopeds, tricycles and quadricycles can receive an incentive of up to a maximum of 1500 euros.
Also eligible for support are chargers for electric vehicle batteries.
Ask before you buy
There is a difference compared to previous years: the Candidate can ask for support before purchasing the vehicle.
