O Flemish decided to raise the tone and opened a more aggressive offensive to try to sign the goalkeeper Gabriel Brazãocurrently in Santos. The archer gained prominence throughout the season and ended the year as one of the main names of the São Paulo team, being decisive in several games and a key player in the club’s fight to avoid an even more delicate scenario in the Brazilian Championship.
But what are the values of the new proposal? Can Brazão leave Santos? Sporting News shows.

Coat of arms at Flamengo?
Internally, the Santos board saw Brazão’s stay as practically certain, especially given the player’s importance in the squad and the expectation of continuity in 2026. However, the scenario began to change with Flamengo’s strong entry into negotiations.
According to “ESPN”, conversations between the parties have already started, still at an early stage, but with clear signs of interest on the part of Rubro-Negro. Flamengo seeks to understand the player’s contractual conditions and the values involved in a possible negotiation, while Santos assesses the technical and financial impact of a possible departure.
Santos had been stipulating the value of 20 million euros to release the player — an amount that corresponds to approximately R$ 131.1 million at the current price. Given this, the tendency is for any agreement to only move forward if the proposal approaches this amount, making negotiation for lower figures unlikely.
Although Peixe has no immediate interest in losing one of its main players, the club’s financial situation could weigh on the decision, especially if Flamengo’s proposal is considered advantageous.
The expectation is that new chapters will emerge in the coming weeks, as Flamengo advances in negotiations and Santos defines its strategy for next season.
