Tevis is close to being loaned by Cruzeiro once again. In the last few hours, heavenly management has directed the striker’s departure from Japan’s Yokohama Marinos.
Ex-Athletico-PR, the 19-year-old player will sign for one year with the Asian team, which will pay a fee to Raposa for the transfer. The parties also agree on a purchase option at the end of the loan.
Tevis’ current contract with Cruzeiro is valid until the end of 2026. Initially, the attacker would return to the celestial club at the beginning of January, with real possibilities of playing in the first rounds of the Campeonato Mineiro.
The information about Tevis’ loan was provided by the Central da Toca website and confirmed by Itatiaia.
The young man was loaned to Furacão this season, but did not stand out and ended the season out of the coaching staff’s plans. He scored one goal in 17 games for the team.
Athletico-PR could buy 85% of Tevis’ economic rights for 3 million euros, but did not activate the clause after the loan.
Tevis for Cruzeiro
Tevis joined the under-20s, after standing out at Retrô-PE. The striker had some brilliance at the base of the celestial team and generated a lot of expectations for the professionals, but he didn’t take off.
In the first team, the young man gained opportunities with Fernando Diniz in 2024, but succumbed to strong competition at the beginning of this year and was loaned out. He has eight games and one goal for Raposa.
