Despite the expectations of the approximately 4.8 million participants in the National High School Exam, Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira) has not yet defined the date for publishing the individual grades of the exam. One in 2025.
They are usually published in January of the year following the application, but for this edition, the institute told CNN Brazil that the calendar is not closed.
Social media pages and education websites even announced January 16th, at 10am, as the date. When asked, Inep said it will officially communicate when there is a definition.
The Enem result is individual and available on the Inep Participant Page. To access the bulletin, the candidate must use the Gov.br login and password.
There, the candidate will be able to check their grades in languages, codes and their technologies; human sciences and their technologies; natural sciences and their technologies; and its technologies; in addition to , which varies from 0 to 1000 points.
Objective tests are marked based on the (Item Response Theory) system, which assesses the candidate’s level of knowledge considering the pattern of answers and the difficulty of the questions, seeking to eliminate “guessing” and ensuring that the grade reflects the participant’s real knowledge.
With the result in hand, the candidate now has the exact dimension of their performance in each area of the test.
Where to use the note?
The scores can be used in federal selection processes.
In Sisu (Unified Selection System), the candidate competes for places in public institutions, as long as they have not completed the essay and have completed high school. The selection considers the average of the grades and follows criteria set out in the Quota Law.
Prouni (University for All Program) allows the use of scores from the last two editions of Enem to compete for full or partial scholarships in private institutions, as long as the student meets the socioeconomic criteria and has a minimum average of 450 points, without writing to zero.
Fies (Student Financing Fund) also uses Enem scores for selection, with a minimum average requirement of 450 points and a non-zero grade in the essay. At Fies Social, half of the vacancies are allocated to CadÚnico subscribers with a family income of up to half the minimum wage per person.
Individual results can also be used in selection processes specific to Brazilian institutions where they have an agreement with Inep.
Inep informed that it will release the official date for Enem 2025 grades when the calendar is defined.
