FC Porto recorded their eighth consecutive victory in the Primeira Liga, beating AVS, this Monday, 2-0, in a game counting for the 16th round of the championship.
At Estádio do Dragão, the team led by Francesco Farioli only managed to take the lead in the second half of the game. Samu scored the first in the 48th minute, having increased Porto’s margin in the 68th minute, with a penalty.
FC Porto is thus able to maintain its distance from Sporting, which is 5 points away, in second place, and increase the gap to Benfica, with a difference of 10 points for the Eagles.
