Russia continues to intensify its threat against the existence of Ukraine. A day after ensuring that he is reconsidering his position on the paz between both countries, the Kremlin stated this Tuesday that it has transferred some of its nuclear missiles a Belaruswhich could facilitate its impact on European objectives.
It is about the misiles Oreshnik —hazelnut in Russian—, ballistic projectiles with nuclear capacity which, according to the Russian president Vladimir Putinthey would travel at a speed supposedly more than 10 times the speed of sound, which would make them impossible to intercept. This weapon represents a major challenge for European anti-missile defenses.
The powerful Russian arsenal was established this Friday in Belarus, a country that shares a border with members of the I’LL TAKE as Poland, Lithuania y Latvia. The Kremlin has already used Oreshnik missiles in combat. In November 2024, the Russian army used these projectiles, then loaded with conventional explosives, on the battlefield in the Ukrainian town of Dniprosoutheast of the Slavic country. Its use came just days after the Putin regime formally lowered the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons.
