Russia will ‘toughen’ stance in negotiations with Ukraine after alleged attack on Putin’s residence

Russia announced this Tuesday (30) that its stance in negotiations on the conflict in will undergo a “hardening” after accusing Kiev of attacking the president’s residence with drones, although he refused to present evidence.

“The consequences will translate into a hardening of the Federation of “Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said at his daily press conference.

“I do not believe that there should be any evidence that a large-scale drone attack was carried out and that, thanks to the well-coordinated work of the air defense system, it was brought down,” he said, following Kiev’s demand that Moscow present evidence of the alleged aggression.

No “plausible evidence”

Russia has not presented “plausible evidence” to support its claim that Ukraine carried out a large-scale drone attack on one of President Vladimir Putin’s residences, the Ukrainian foreign minister said on Tuesday (30).

“Almost a day has passed and Russia has still not presented any plausible evidence for its accusations about Ukraine’s alleged ‘attack on Putin’s residence’. And they won’t. Because there is none. No such attack has taken place,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said on the X social network.
