Simple salad with tuna and olives. Serve it to your guests on New Year's Eve and they will be delighted

Salad with tuna and olives is a great idea not only for a second breakfast or lunch, but also for a party, especially on New Year’s Eve, when something filling, convenient and quick to serve is important. You can make this snack even at the last minute. Thanks to the addition of rice, tuna, olives, corn, radishes and onions it’s really informativeso it will be a perfect meal between one toast and another. At the same time, it remains aromatic and distinctive, which makes guests eager to eat it. It tolerates long periods of time on the table and can be made in advance tastes even better when cooled – that’s why it’s perfect for party gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 100 g of rice,
  • 2 cans of tuna in its own juice,
  • can of corn,
  • 20 black olives,
  • 8 radishes,
  • red onion,
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
  • 2 tablespoons of sour cream (18%),
  • 1/2 teaspoon of herbal pepper,
  • salt, black pepper (to taste).

How to do it:

1. Cook the rice until loose. Cook over low heat in 170 ml of lightly salted water until the rice has absorbed most of the water. After cooking, leave it covered for 10 minutes.

2. Drain the tuna and corn from the brine. Combine in a large enough bowl. Add cooled rice.

3. Cut the olives into slices and the washed radishes into half-slices. Cut the peeled onion into cubes. Add olives, radishes and onion to the bowl.

4. Add mayonnaise mixed with sour cream and herbal pepper to the bowl. Mix all ingredients. Season the salad to taste with salt and pepper. Place in the fridge for at least half an hour to let the flavors mingle.
