A fairy tale directed by Zdenek Troška Lucky from hell is among the most frequently broadcast films in the Czech Republic and Slovakia during the Christmas period. The actress also starred in the popular film Daniela Bartáková (77), who played the role of a kind nurse. However, she recently revealed to the newspaper that she went through a difficult period during which she thought she would have to give up her career.
Bartáková also works in radio, and it was there that she suddenly lost her sight. “I could only see light and dark. Nothing else,” she confided in the Czech media. The actress underwent several different examinations, but the doctors could not give advice and could not get to the root of the problem.
After two months of fumbling, she began to lose hope, but then a “miracle” came. She began to see the same as before. “I call it that they enlightened me. My eyes served me again. From minute to minute. No one can imagine that joy and relief.” said Bartáková. Her life is back on track, well the specialists still did not know what actually happened.
A native of Bucharest, Romania, she also appeared in films such as Ripe Wine or Dad for Next Christmas, as well as in the TV series Arabela Returns, Happiness Insurance Company, Office in the Rose Garden or Badge of Vysočina. Viewers also associate her voice with Mom Walsh in the cult series Beverly Hills 90210.
