The main reason for the negative reactions was the age difference between them: Margareth recently turned 60, while Danilo is 39. The couple made their union official in August, a period in which the accordion player’s ex-partner was pregnant.
The web was unforgiving: many internet users invaded Margareth’s profiles and blasted the romance, leaving skeptical messages about the couple’s future.
“This obvious relationship that has an expiration date… My guess is 10 to 12 months, until the new guy can take off in his career,” commented a follower. Another person wrote: “Giving fame to his ‘gift from God’? If he left his ex with a child in her belly, imagine [o que vai fazer com] you in a few days.”
Separation Details
Despite the criticism, the separation took part of the public by surprise and quickly had repercussions among fans. In the official note, the influencer’s mother explained the reason for the end of the relationship.

“I would like to share with you that Danilo and I decided to end our relationship in a friendly and respectful way. We had very happy moments together, full of learning and a lot of gratitude for everything we experienced. But now we feel that it is time to follow different paths. We will continue to wish each other the best and so it will be”, he stated.
At the end of the statement, Margareth thanked and asked for understanding. “Ending a relationship is never easy. Thank you, Danilo, family and friends for everything. May God bless and always take care of your lives.”
