During the ceremony, emotional messages from the brothers and testimonies from close friends and family recalled Betão’s trajectory, values and generosity. The atmosphere was one of respectful silence, tears and gratitude, interrupted by songs and words of faith that helped to comfort those present at the moment of farewell.

The final tribute reflected who Betão was in life. A visionary businessman, he built his history on working in the field, became one of the most important names in livestock farming in Acre and contributed directly to the economic development of the state, generating jobs and investments over the decades.

In addition to his business activities, Betão also left a social legacy little known to the general public. Discreetly, he maintained a support house for drug addicts, where people in vulnerable situations received shelter, food, care and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. For many, this was one of the most memorable aspects of his career, remembered with emotion during the funeral.
