A live alligator was found on Tuesday night (30) on Avenida Amadeu Barbosa, in Rio Branco, attracting the attention of drivers and pedestrians passing by. The presence of the animal in an urban area generated surprise and resulted in an unusual scene, recorded on video and shared on social media.

In the images, it is possible to see the moment when a man, with the help of a beach chair, manages to contain the alligator.
At the end of the video, the man states that the alligator was taken to a forested area, where it was released safely.
Similar cases are often recorded during periods of floods, when wild animals end up moving to urban areas.
When encountering wild animals outside their natural habitat, the population should avoid approaching them and contact the competent environmental agencies, in order to guarantee the safety of people and the animal itself.
