Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) is expected to undergo a digestive endoscopy this Wednesday, 31st, for evaluation. The information is contained in a medical bulletin released this Tuesday, 30.
According to the medical team, Bolsonaro remains hospitalized in post-operative care after undergoing a supplementary anesthetic block of the phrenic nerves, indicated after new episodes of hiccups.
The former president was taken to the operating room early this Tuesday afternoon for a new procedure with the aim of alleviating the recurring hiccups. The information was released by former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro on social media.

The medical team also informed that Bolsonaro continues undergoing respiratory physiotherapy, using CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) at night and preventive measures against thrombosis.
Jair Bolsonaro underwent surgery on December 25th and other procedures to correct his recurring hiccups.
The forecast, according to doctors reported on the afternoon of Monday, 29th, is that the former president could be discharged on January 1st. As soon as this happens, he will return to the Federal Police Superintendence, in Brasília, where he is serving his sentence after being convicted of trying to carry out a coup d’état in the country.
