Peuerbach/Vienna – Raphael Pallitsch took second place at the 43rd international New Year’s Eve run in Peuerbach. On Wednesday, after 6,800 m in 19:19.09 minutes, he was only beaten by the German Florian Bremm, who won for the third time in a row (19:09.04). Andreas Vojta came fifth (19:22.75). In the women’s race, after 5.1 km, the Slovenian Marusa Mismas Zrimsek had the upper hand in 15:46.39 minutes ahead of the Kenyan Jepkosgei Biwot, while Lotte Seiler came in sixth (16:42.70).
