The case is still developing. The regional veterinary and food administration in Púchov carried out an inspection directly at the manufacturer PPP AGROFARMA in Červený Kameni. In addition, the operator himself took samples of the bryndza and sent them to the laboratory. The results are worrying – the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes was confirmed in all five tested samples. It is AGROFARMA brand Bryndza, with an expiration date of 12/31/2025 and batch L171225. The total amount of dairy products produced exceeded 17,000 kilograms, and the goods went not only to Slovakia, but also to the Czech Republic and Hungary.
