Tatiana Schlossberg: John F. Kennedy’s granddaughter died at 35

Τατιάνα Σλόσμπεργκ: Πέθανε στα 35 της η εγγονή του Τζον Φ. Κένεντι

Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of the 35th US president, died today, just weeks after revealing she had been diagnosed with a rare form. He was 35 years old.

Her death was announced in a post by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum on social networking sites.

“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. He will always be in our hearts,” the post said.

On November 22, in a New Yorker op-ed, Schlossberg herself announced that she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia with a rare mutation, a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

This is a genetic abnormality found in less than 2% of cases of this form of leukemia.

In fact, she revealed that the doctors gave her only one year to live.

Doctors diagnosed her with cancer shortly after giving birth to her daughter in May 2024.

At the same time, Schlossberg had also criticized her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the US health secretary, accusing him of being a vaccine skeptic and cutting funding for cancer research.
