The police from Prievidza charged a 25-year-old man with theft. The day before New Year’s Eve (December 30), a drunk broke into a sales stand and stole fireworks. The Trenčín regional police informed about it on the social network.

“The perpetrator broke the glass window of the sales stand and subsequently stole several pieces of pyrotechnics from it. Thanks to the quick intervention of the police patrol, the police officers restricted his personal freedom shortly after the act,” informs the police. The policemen measured 2.75 per thousand of alcohol in his breath, then placed him in a pre-trial detention cell.
