Also in 2025, it was organized by the largest non-governmental organization A smile as a gift operating in the field of alternative care, assistance to families at risk in Slovakia and assistance to victims of crimes, a Christmas benefit concert full of singing stars. There were Miro Jaroš, Monika Bagárová, Martina Schindlerová, rapper Kali, Ondrej Kandráč and many others.
Pre with musician Teri Čikoš at the event the musician Ondrej Kandráč spoke. His music group Kandračovci did not celebrate its 20th anniversary until the end of 2025 with concerts.
“Twenty years of the band, the Kandračovci band, that’s an incredible life story. Escapades, sinusoids, we are still together, we are still creating, we are releasing a new album. We have prepared a brand new program with the music of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic. The celebrations include songs performed by my mother Monika Kandračová and Janka Poráčová. So in one word, really all my loved ones are around me and I am very, very grateful for that.” said a well-known Slovak in one breath about concerts and anniversaries.
The band Kandračovci was founded by singer and violinist Ondrej Kandráč in 2004, its first name was Ondrej Kandrač’s Folk Music. The first successful album A čija to chyža is also from 2004, a year later they released the album Sinu muj. In 2008, they received platinum records for the sales of these albums and released another successful title Oj, zabava.
There were other successful records Dva Duby from 2012, 10 years with you (2014), CD and DVD Kandračovci Galakoncert (2015). In October 2016, they released the album Sokoly. Their popularity continues to this day. Kandračovci belong to the most successful Slovak bands of the last decades.
