North Korea’s leader made her first official visit to the family mausoleum, where her grandfather Kim Jong Il and her great grandfather Kim Il Sung, former leaders of the one-party state, are laid to rest, footage broadcast by state media shows.
In a photo released by KCNA, the teenager is pictured between her parents — the country’s current leader and first lady — flanked by dozens of political and military officials in a hall of the grand Kumshusan Palace of the Sun in the capital, Pyongyang.

Experts took the appearance of the young woman as another indication that Mr. Kim.
The girl first appeared in state media photos in 2022 and has since been seen accompanying her father to various major events, from missile tests and weapons system inspections to his visit to China last year.
Officially, the details that have been announced about the child are minimal. His age, nor his name, has never been released by official media.
The revelations about his daughter
Veteran basketball player Dennis Rodman, who had met with Mr Kim during his visit to North Korea in 2013 — the reclusive leader is known to have worshiped the Chicago Bulls and especially Michael Jordan — had revealed that the girl’s first name is Ju E. She is believed to be 13 or 14 years old.
North Korea has been ruled since the Kim family was established, with its founder and his son always referred to as “eternal leaders” in official propaganda material.
South Korean intelligence considers it almost certain that the current leader’s daughter will one day become the representative of the dynasty’s fourth generation to take power.
