This Friday morning (2), the Federal Police arrested former presidential advisor Filipe Martins at his home, in Ponta Grossa (PR), as ordered by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court. He was taken to a city prison.
According to the order, the preventive detention was ordered after the former advisor allegedly violated one of the precautionary measures imposed, which prohibits access to social networks. According to the minister, Martins had carried out a survey on the LinkedIn platform.
Three Federal Police agents carried out the warrant. When they took Martins away, the police officers did not explain to him or his lawyers.

Martins had been under house arrest since last Saturday (27). He was convicted of participating in the coup plot, on charges of collaborating with the so-called coup draft, which he denies. The definitive sentence has not yet started to be served because appeals against the sentence have not been exhausted.
The former advisor was part of the government of then president Jair Bolsonaro. His performance became known for the episode in which he made a gesture linked to neo-Nazism: he indicated with his hand the letters W and P, an acronym for “white power”.
